The Sun rose on December 24, 1949 when Betty Jo & Morris Conley welcomed Brenda Joyce Conley into the world, a day the world became a little brighter. Brenda was the oldest of ten. She grew up in Kashmere Gardens where she attended Booker T. Washington High School. She aspired to be a cosmetologist; however, she flexed her clerical skills at various companies including Baylor College of Medicine of 15 years where she retired.
Brenda later studied Medical Billing and Coding at Lone Star College North Harris. She was a devout Christian at Grady Street Church of Christ.
Brenda married, and birth her only son Mark Anthony Roberts, (Juggy). Brenda enjoyed her family. She was a fiercely dedicated mom and aunt, as she loved her nieces and nephews. She listened and offered advice and words of encouragement.
Brenda loved to dance and listen to music. She indulged in Bingo and Netflix for entertainment. Brenda was a fiercely dedicated mom to Juggy and all of her nieces and nephews. Family came first and above all else, a value to those around her.
Brenda was fond of BINGO, dancing and dining with her childhood friends. She was independent and active until she fell ill of a pulmonary embolism in December 2021.
Friday, June 10th,2022 the Sun set, and Brenda Joyce was called home to be with our Heavenly Father. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Brenda will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
She is survived by her son (Juggy) Mark, Nyree, daughter-in-law, and her grandchildren, Tahnez, Tahjere, and Tahnia. Her mom Betty Jo Conley, siblings and family are also left to cherish her memories. Brenda lived a full and warm life, filled with joy. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX with a funeral service to follow. A committal service will occur Friday, June 24, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery. A reception will take place after the committal service Friday, June 24, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
