Berdia Mae Lindsey, age 79, of New Orleans, La, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Spring, Tx. Berdia was born on June 13, 1942 to the late Johnson Fairley & Mattie Lee Fairley, in Maxie, Mississippi. She was a retired Caregiver. She graduated from McDonogh 35 High school. She enjoyed playing Bingo, was a huge New Orleans Saints football fan, Who-Dat and enjoyed family gatherings. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her 4 children Darlene Journee(Cedric), Sharon Thomas(Willie), Darrell Thigpen and Brandon M.Glenn, 5 grandchildren: Dwjuan Anders(Kesha), Syreeta Brown(Terrence), Vernal Cross(Ashly) ,Tiffany Davis(Dominique) and Shana Jackson (Lee), 13 great-grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews and her close dear friend Paulette Jones. All who knew her were familiar with her sweet spirit and words, for now we all hold in our hearts her prominent words and sweet tone, “See ya later my baby”. Rest well Momo.
She’s preceded in death by her parents Mattie & Johnson Fairley. She will be tremendously missed by all who loved her.
A visitation for Berdia will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A committal service will occur Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
