Zane McDow

On March 17, 2022, our beautiful Zane McDow, the heart of our family, passed away at the age of 79. She was born April 29, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bernice and Horace Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert McDow, her children, Nadya (Randy), Zina (Jon), Emile (Sabine), Samia (Julia), Sage (Jamie), and Shea (Rhonda), 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Her life was full of adventure, boldness, exuberance, and uniqueness. She was a true cowgirl at heart and lived her life to the fullest. Spending time in the high country with her husband Bob was one of her passions. Zane was the most giving and loving person, especially when it came to her family. During her life, she worked as an auctioneer, realtor, bartender, and owned multiple businesses, including antique stores and the Rawhide Saloon in Jamestown. Zane touched lives in the most special ways. She will truly be missed, but memories of her will go on forever and ever! She often said it and many can still hear her saying it, “It’s been a helluva ride!”
