Todd Stanton Raymond Shields

Todd Stanton Raymond Shields, our beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on August 7, 1979, in Modesto, California, Todd will be remembered for his deep love of the outdoors, his exceptional mechanical skills, and his quiet, steady spirit.

Todd had a kind heart and a gift for making people laugh. His presence was calming, his loyalty unwavering, and his sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him. He worked as a medical transporter while living in Washington, where he was deeply appreciated by both patients and colleagues for his compassionate and reliable nature.

He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sierra Nichole Shields; his grandparents, Jane Ellen Rocha and Tony Rocha; his father-in-law, Ron Mosley; and his loyal companion, Mojo.

Todd is survived by his mother, Laurie Whittle, and stepfather, James Whittle; his father, Jerald Shields; his children, TJ Shields and Lacey Shields; his siblings, Erika Shields Burns (Robert), Taz Warburton, Trista Warburton (Kyle), Lisa Bondshu (Mykel), Maddison Vest, John-John Warburton, his best friend Josh Reyna; and his beloved partner, Jess. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.

A memorial service honoring Todd’s life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home – Heritage Chapel, located at 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA 95326.

Those who knew Todd were better for it. He will be missed beyond measure.
