Thomas Gary Johnson II

Thomas Gary Johnson II, age 60, of Modesto died Wednesday, December 2 at the hospital. Mr. Johnson was a native of Coronado, CA. He grew up in Waterford, CA and currently was residing in Modesto, CA at the time of his death. He was self-employed as a certified floor covering installation contractor. Besides his father Ray E. Johnson, he was the best in his field in Stanislaus County. He was employed at Ray’s Carpets, which was previously owned by his father, for many years and was in high demand; many clients requested him specifically. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Modesto for 10 years.

Thomas is survived by his wife of almost 19 years, Laura L. Johnson of Waterford, children Thomas G. Johnson III, April D. Paul of Modesto, stepchildren Joshua D. Kitchens, Sr., Brianna J. Ragsdale, brothers Ray E. Johnson, Jr. of Greeley, CO, Larry M. Johnson of San Jose, Terry S. Johnson of Riverbank, Christopher J. Johnson of Modesto, sisters Linda D. Sullivan of Ceres, Penny Johnson of Placerville, Lori D. Johnson of Lucerne and 8 grandchildren which he loves very much; Joshua D. Kitchens, Jr., Shawna R. Paul, Angelina C. Salas, Alexa Bradford, Jason Paul, Ryan Paul, Ohana K. Wolf and Obrielle K. Wolf.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 16th, 2015 at 1:00PM at Lakewood Funeral Home Riverside Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, CA.
