Susan Lynn Brasil

Susie attended school in Modesto and graduated Downey High School in 1969. After earning her Associates Degree from Modesto Junior College, she began her 40 year career at Norris Industries in Riverbank. Susie was involved with school activities for both her daughter and granddaughters. She loved to camp and spend time with family. She was well known for her famous homemade cookies, and the ability to pick out the best gifts to give.

Susie is survived by her loving husband, Lizuarte (Joe) Jose Brasil, daughter: Kayla Marie Brasil, granddaughters: Mary and Lizzy, sisters: Debbie Whorton (Dennis) and Judy Janda (Ron). Susie also leaves behind her sisters-in-law: Csilla Bick and Ida Bettencourt (John), brother-in-law: Horacio Brasil (Connie), and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gale and Bernice Bick, brother Ronny Bick, and father and mother-in-law Jose and Mary Brasil.

A visitation & rosary for Susan will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 beginning at 4:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California 95326. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Road, Modesto, California 95355.
