Robert Stanley Morrison

Robert S. ”Rebob” Morrison, age 89 passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Modesto, surrounded by his family and friends. Robert served honorably in the Navy during WWII, after which he worked with Pac Bell/ATT for 35 years until retirement. He then worked for Dow Hammond Trucks and Interstate Truck Center for 30 more years.

Robert was a member of the Modesto Masonic Temple, achieving the 32nd degree. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends. Robert is preceded in death by his mother, brothers and wife of 51 years Mary and is survived by his daughter Kathy Gleaves (Fred) of Marietta, Georgia and his partner of 14 years Alice Reichenberg, who was always by his side.

Visitation is Friday, August 19, 2016 from 4 to 8pm and Funeral Service is Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10:30am; both will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hughson, California.
