Raul S. Magana

He passed away peacefully in his Home in Modesto, CA May of 2021 at age 67. Raul has been in

Stanislaus County his whole life. He was raised in Riverbank, where his family established their life.

Raul had many talents but the one he was most proud of was being a Barber. His uncle Richard, who was also a Barber, inspired him. Raul became a licensed barber in 1975 and loved what he did. Raul had a real passion for cutting hair, he was very talented and many people in the community grew very close to him because of his welcoming attitude.

In Raul's younger years, he also went bowling, and was proud to say he was a bowling champion, he would gather with a group of his friends and that is how his bowling championship started. His children remember all of the trophies he would get from bowling. Raul also enjoyed fishing with his children and traveling on the weekends.

Everyone will always remember how Loving and free— spirited Raul was. Raul had a laugh that everyone would recognize, and that is something his family will always cherish dearly. His grandchildren will always remember how he always had candy ready for them.

Raul is survived by, his daughters, Melissa (Adam), Serena (Bubba), Breanne (Wes), and his son Raul (Angie). Raul also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Adam, Anthony, Angel, Nayah, Amadeo, Dominic and Marcus. As well as his siblings, Esther and Jorge.

Raul is proceeded in death by his parents Roy and Dolores and his brother Robert. Graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park 900 Santa Fe Ave Hughson, CA on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10:00 am. Celebration of Life to follow.
