Maxine Terry was born in Standard, California to Hubble and Lula Anderson. She passed away at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House with family by her side. She was kind, loving, witty and accepting of all people.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Hubble and Lula Anderson, her brothers Edward and Marshall Anderson, her sister Louise Whitt, her husband Artie Terry, her daughter Tracey Terry, her grandson Jason Tredway, and her son-in-law Jack Hinton. She would often say she was the last one standing.
Maxine is survived by her 3 daughters, Barbara Hinton, Jackie Weaver (Robert), and Jan Terry; 5 grandchildren Joan Fahey (Jack), Jami Labrouche (Clement), Brandi Supnet, Erik Supnet (Pakou), Rebecca Smit (Greg); 17 great grandchildren Candice McAleavey, Terra Fahey, Kristin Fahey, Lauren Labrouche, Jada Eastman, Reese Labrouche, Spencer Yang, Mae Supnet, Daren Yang, Nyla Eastman, Henry Supnet, Logan Yang, Ashton Smit, Easton Smit, Grant Supnet, Gianna Smit, and soon to be baby Supnet; and 6 great-great grandchildren Jay McAleavey, Layla McAleavey, Riley Ramirez, Stephen Ramirez, Kayla Ramirez and America Ramirez.
Her passing will leave an empty place in our hearts, but we know she’s united with those who have gone before her and she is smiling down on us. We love you and miss you, but know you are in a better place. You were our rock. We will always draw from your wisdom and your example. We would like to thank the staff at Community Hospice for the excellent care she received.
There will be a visitation at Lakewood Funeral Home Riverside Chapel, Friday, August 31, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Lakewood Memorial Park in Memory Garden at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life in the Riverside Chapel at 11:00 am.
