Mary Lueras Agustin

Mary Lueras Agustin passed away on July 28, 2017 in Hughson CA at the age of 90. She was born on December 28, 1926 in Manzano, New Mexico. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Alfredo Lueras, mother, Adelina Lujan, brother, Joe Lueras, sister, Petra Catuiza, husband, Rufino A. Agustin, and daughters, Nancy Lopez, Joan Agustin, and great-grandson, Ryder Prosser.

She is survived by her brother, Ricardo (Emma) Lueras, sons, Ernie (Jan) Bawanan, Ramon (Barbara) Bawanan, stepson, Bob Agustin, daughter, Rita Bawanan (Rick) Merzoian, grandchildren, Cynthia (Michael) Cawthon, Ann Marie (Jonathan) Wright, Stephanie (Cory) Peters, Jennifer (Bradden) Swoboda, Julie (Patrick) Walsh, Emily (Chuck) Stivison, Abigail (Ryan) Prosser, Mariann Cruise and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Samaritan Village and Community Hospice for their care, love and for being extended family members.

Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA on Monday, August 7, between 4-8 p.m. A rosary will be held at 10 a.m. and funeral mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 7820 Fox Road, Hughson, CA. Interment will follow the mass at Lakewood Memorial Park. A reception will be held at 1 p.m. at Hughes Social Hall behind St. Anthony’s Church. Mary L. Agustin will be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan Village,Community Hospice, or the United Samaritan Foundation.
