Mabel Ruth Newton

Mabel graduated Modesto High School in 1953 and was a member of the Bakery and Confectionery Union and worked for Dolly Madison Bakery for 25 years. She was a member of Village Chapel Church in Ceres.

She was preceeded in death by her husband of 63 years Robert Edward Newton and is survived by her three children Karen Newton-Lowery, Kristina Berns and Robert Keith Newton(Josie). She leaves behind six grandchildren, Colton Dennis, Koree Brughelli, JoDee Westfall, Jamee Corbett, Kay Reeves, Steven Rubalcava and six great grandchildren Hunter, Ryker, Holden, Cole, Reed and Hazel. Mabel is also survived by her siblings Marvin Turner and Delores Newton and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all those who know and love her.

A visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. A graveside service will be the following day Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:30pm at Lakewood Memorial Park in the Peacevale Garden.
