Lavonne Shore

Thursday, September 27, 2018 Modesto resident Lavonne Shore (82yrs.) passed away peacefully at home, with her children at her bedside. Lavonne was born in Roswell, New Mexico. She moved to Ripon, CA and then Modesto in 1942. She graduated from Modesto, High, Class of 1955. Lavonne was a Nurse at Doctor’s Medical for 20yrs. She loved Church, Bible Studies, Traveling, Reading & her dog Jax. She is survived by sister Joann Lusk of Hughson, CA. Her children; Randall Cheek, Rhonda Snow, Vincent Cheek (Brandie), Jayna Bucklin (Brett), all residents of Modesto. Six Grandchildren & nine Great Grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by parents and loving husband John Bert Shore Sr. of 41 years. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, 4pm-8pm. A graveside Service on Wednesday, October 10th at 11am. Both at Lakewood Memorial Park 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA
