Modesto, California - Kyle Matthew Schleiss age 21, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend.
His school years included Martone Elementary, Roosevelt Junior High, and he graduated from Davis High School in 2018 where he was a member of the water polo team.
As a child he enjoyed playing soccer, baseball, golf, skateboarding, riding his scooter, and swimming. He participated in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Kyle was a excellent BMX bike rider and could do many hard and challenging tricks. He spent many hours at the skate-park. He also enjoyed snowboarding and going to the snow. Kyle was an avid video game player and had a large collection of Funko Pop Figures. He loved all animals, going to concerts, going to the beach, swimming, spending time with his friends, and being with his girlfriend Kait. Kyle's greatest love was his Mustang GT. He loved fixing and working on his car and taking it to car shows in Northern California to show it off. He also loved taking long drives in his car.
He was employed at the Manteca Home Depot. Kyle loved working with the nightshift crew.
Kyle was smart, witty, funny, and could always make you laugh. When he came into a room, he had the biggest smile and always lit up the room with his funny sense of humor. Although only 21 at the time of his death, Kyle left a lasting impression on those who knew him and was loved by many people. His family dearly misses him and may he rest in peace with our Lord Savior Jesus Christ.
Kyle is survived by his parents Matt and Edie, his sister Kayla and his grandmothers Toni Schwartz and Mary Schleiss. He is also survived by his many aunts and uncles including Sheryl Hill (Brent), Shauna Midzor (Gary), Suzy Newell, Elizabeth Doreksen (Dean), Peggy Carmo (Dimas), Janie Smith (Jessie). He also leaves many cousins and his girlfriend Kait Petersen.
Burial will be private and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
