Joan Ellen Nichols, age 70 passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Ceres, California. Joan was born March 14, 1951 in California to Ruth Miller and O.E.Glass. She loved with a passion that could not be measured and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Joan is survived by her daughter Janice King (Jeremy), son Christopher Nichols (Leanna), grandsons Ian Nichols and Sye Nichols, granddaughter Natalie King. Sisters - Roberta Martin, Juanita Kizer, Faye Smith, Carol Kendall (Charles), Donna Norton (Phil), Sue McKinsey, Jan Clark - Her twin (Darrel). Brothers - Raymond Glass (Shelly), Don Glass (Debbie). And many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her father O.E. Glass, her mother Ruth Miller, brother Robert Glass, sister Rosemary Glass.
Services will be held January 15, 2022 at 11:00am at Village Chapel in Ceres, CA.
Peaceful Shores
I have lived in sight of the ocean
Where the water runs into land
I have walked on the beach
in the morning
