A few times, we'd show up when the LOMELI boys were at baseball games and we'd go watch. They all were AWESOME baseball players! 
Here is another picture of +Jaime+ this time playing baseball in Ceres, CA.  This was taken in 1974




I met my Primito Jaime, on one of my first family visits to Mexico. He was a 3 year young, little boy.  

One of my VERY vivid memories of Jaime is crawling on his little hands and bare knees chasing a black cat from their family living room all the way into the kitchen (in Zapotlanejo).  This was real action and i just stood there watching not knowing how this chase was going to end; LOL!  I don't remember what started the chase,  but Jaime was very determined for revenge and very angry at Kitty.  It does have a good ending...lucky Kitty  got away by leaping over a wall  as fast as he could that lead into a neighbor's house.  I always reminded Jaime how the 'Kitty  that got away'  left me with a memorable impression. I don't think he remembered; he was too young but we'd laugh about it.  Not too long thereafter, My Aunt, Uncle and Cousins moved to California. As  we all grew up, our visits never ceased.  

I visit Tia Chayo in Ceres quite often (l hr 45 mins away). Jaime was all about familia. When he became a grandfather, his life transformed into  Joy from then on :)       Many times, as I arrived, Jaime would be there visiting his momma, sitting at the kitchen table talking about his 'salsas'.  Jaime told me he loved to cook and how he loved making salsas :)     If he wasn't there when I arrived, I'd call him and tell him his 'fav' Prima was there and most times he'd drop in with his family or by himself.  With his loud,  friendly voice and  those big brown eyes of his, I will always and forever remember  how he greeted me: "HEY, Yoli. Whatya doin', Yoli".  Yup, I will miss that greeting,  but he will ALWAYS remain in my heart <3

I had a class in high school with Jaime.  Mr Catzalco’s class, we had so many laughs and good times.  Jaime always smiled and was a great person to be around.  He will be missed, condolences to the Lomeli family and Marla.  

What I remember best about Jaime from high school is the way his eyes lit up when he smiled or laughed! He was such a sweet guy. My deepest condolences Marla, to you  and the family♥️. RIP Jaime. Gone to young for sure!
