Ida Belle Moody passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024 at the age of 97.
Born on January 09, 1927, in Reichert Oklahoma, a daughter of the late John Richard and Eliza Ann Steelman.
Ida Belle married her longtime friend and sweetheart, Harrel W.H. Moody when she was 19 years old on October 5, 1946 who preceded her in death in 2006.
Ida Belle was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harrel W.H. Moody; two sons, Elden D. Moody (wife, Lora Moody), Harrel Richard Moody (wife, Pam McDaniel); one daughter, Vicky Ann Cardona (husband, Julian Cardona); seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Waterford, Ca.
She was a homemaker and did volunteer work through the church. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
Funeral Service will be held at 10am Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, California 95326.
A Graveside Service will be held after.
