Glynda DePée Oliver of Ceres passed away July 4th at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson after a long battle with cancer. Glynda was born in Texas and has lived in Ceres for over 37 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Bud J DePée and Parents Louis and Syble Holloman. She is survived by her husband, John Oliver, 2 daughters, Kelly (Jim) Renslow, and Leslie (Greg) Dalton, son, Casey (Laura) DePée, and 2 sisters, Jodi (Larry) Cook, and Elaine (Danny) Davis. Glynda was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She never questioned her faith during her battle with cancer but instead would tell everyone of God’s unfailing love. She was a wonderful homemaker always making homemade breads, cakes and cookies. She truly enjoyed the beautiful peaceful yard she had landscaped all by herself. Chapel service will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in the Heritage Chapel on July 14, 2014 at 11:00am
