Georgie Lee Davis was born in McAlester,Oklahoma and moved to Modesto in 1940. She was a committed and passionate follower of Christ throughout her life and went to her home in heaven on the 11th of June 2016. Georgie loved her family at the Mountain View Baptist Church and sharing her testimony of Jesus. She also taught Bible Studies at Casa De in Modesto for 39 years. Georgie worked for the National Can Company for 14 years before returning to college and becoming a Medical Records Technician for the Stanislaus Medical Center.
She is survived by her son Ron Schneider (Cheryl); three grandsons Roy Rea (Michelle), Marshall Schneider (Jenny), and Matthew Schneider (Diane); 18 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Georgie is preceded in death by her parents George and Beatrice Jeffrey. She will be deeply and dearly missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hughson.
Visitation is June 24th between 4:00pm and 7:00pm.
