Darlene was born in Ashtabula Ohio on September 23rd 1958, she worked for the Modesto school district for nearly 19 years as a library assistant. She was a lifetime member of the VFW women’s auxiliary.
Darlene was never married nor did she ever have any children but she loved working with all the children she helped in the schools she worked at,she also loved spoiling her 7 nieces and 8 nephews when ever she had the opportunity.
Darlene loved all the holidays and would dress up whenever she got the opportunity but her favorite holiday was always Christmas, she would decorate every part of her home she could reach and even paint scenes on her windows.
Darlene also loved to cook and bake and was always looking for new recipes to try.
Darlene was a Christian of non denomination and would read daily inspirational passages the very last one she read was Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.
She is survived by her oldest brother James Udell of Lebanon Pennsylvania, her oldest sister Delma Lambert of Bremerton Washington, her older brother Merritt Udell of Turlock California and her older sister Judy Moore of Bremerton Washington
