Charles was born in Paul’s Valley, Oklahoma and his family moved to Stanislaus county in 1942.
Charles worked for PG&E in Richmond, Ca as a lineman, and then as a lineman in Stockton, Ca for several years, then moving to Oakdale as a line sub foreman. Charles worked for PG&E for 39 years, retiring in 1994 as an electric Troubleman in Oakdale.
Charles loved raising and selling cattle on his small ranch in Hickman, California. This is the same small ranch where he was raised.
Preceding Charles’ death was his wife Janie, and sons Charles and Michael.
Charles is survived by his daughter Cathi Morris, stepson Matt Brechwald, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID - 19 pandemic, there will be no formal services held for Mr. Womack.
