Barbara S. Campbell Criswell

March 7, 1958 - April 10, 2011

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Barbara Campbell Criswell, 53, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10th, 2011, surrounded by loved ones. Our beloved Barbie has her healthy, new body in Heaven and is

joyfully reunited with her brother, Bobby, father, James and her great granddaughter, Gabrielle.

Barbara was born in Abilene, Texas on March 7, 1958 and grew up in Modesto, California. She graduated from Modesto High School in 1976. She had a long and very successful career with the Raley's Corporation, from which she eventually retired. She enjoyed decorating and taking care of her beautiful home, gardening, relaxing in her swimming pool, hosting gatherings for family and friends and helping people in anyway she could. She had a wonderful, light hearted and free spirit. In past years, Barbara enjoyed going on motorcycle trips, scenic vacations and loved social events in general. She made friends easily and was always there for people; always giving of her time to help others.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Criswell; step daughter, Dana Zapian; step son, Joey Criswell; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother, Patricia Easley; brother, Evan (Jaimie) Campbell; sisters, Jimmie (Bill) Burgess and Rachel (Ron) Sims, 5 nieces and 2 nephews and Godson Zachary Pinedo. She loved her family dearly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, James Easley; brother, Bobby Campbell and her great granddaughter, Gabrielle Zapian.
