Arlene Joyce Ribeiro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Canton, Texas. She was born on November 17, 1942 in Deluth, Minnesota to parents Kenneth and Ruby Balm and had one younger sister, Joan. Arlene and her family had moved to Modesto, California in 1955 and she later moved to Canton, Texas in 2011. Arlene was an outgoing and kind person who enjoyed crafts of all kinds and visiting beaches and mountains. After she graduated from White Bear High School in Minnesota she was a bookkeeper in California for many years.
Arlene is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey, Scott and Christopher, seven grandchildren, Bradley, Michael, Samantha, Amanda, Matthew, Colby and Brian and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandson Anthony. Arlene will be dearly missed by all those who love her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Heritage Chapel with burial to follow after in Lakewood Memorial Park.
