Alfred B. Pollard

Al was born Jan. 28,1928 in Sudan Texas and moved to Wasco CA. at an early age. He was from a family of 7 children with his brother Harvel and two sisters, Lucille and Ercell surviving him. Al is also survived by his son Terry Pollard and family, daughter Linda Boothe and family, daughter Judy Bunker and family. He also had two stepchildren with his wife Marie, Bill Armstrong and Sue York and their families. Al had 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren with another one due soon.

Al served his country in the Army Air Corp / US Army for several years in the late forty´s. After an honorable discharge he hired on with P.G.&E and worked 40 years before retirement. He worked for them through out the state of California from Bakersfield to Oakland.

Al and Marie traveled the world after their retirements while living in Twain Harte CA.. He and Marie have been living in Hughson CA. for the last two years.

Alfred, Al, Sonny was a rock of strength for the Pollard clan and he will be truly missed by all. Al touched the lives of many people through out his life and his sense of humor was second to none.

Chapel services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson CA., 900 Santa Fe Avenue at 1:30 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the Riverside Chapel.
