William J. Curtin

William James Curtin, 78, of Hudson, Florida went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to William A. Curtin and Marion McGee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from NYPD in New York after 20 years of service. He and his family moved to Florida in 1977 where he began a third career in real estate. Upon retirement, he spent his time enjoying his family, traveling, and playing as much golf as possible. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and his gentle and patient spirit, and mischievous smile will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Rita F. Curtin; sons William Curtin and wife Monica; Kenneth Curtin and wife Katrin; daughter Lisa Grizzard and husband Glenn; brother Robert Curtin; sisters Mary Finley and husband Art; Patricia Setzer and husband Ray; 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, July 30, 2012 located at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00AM Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida. Burial will be at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to HPH Hospice in Hudson, Florida.
