Mike and I started first grade back in 1941 and have been friends ever since.  He was a great guy.  In fact, Mike asked me to our 11th grade prom and we have a great time that night, all four couples, dancing in the street and guys pushing us girls on the swings. Mike and I were good friends and shared many good times together over the years. Mike was with me when I met my wife Brenda, definitely a memorable occasion.

We shared some great times together at the Hurling Green and Four Green Fields both Irish Taverns. While we were coworkers at GM, Fridays always consisted of the Club Meeting at Teddy's Tavern, we always managed to solve all of the worlds problems and analyzed every sport. 

We went on a lot golf trips and my fondest was our golf trip to Ireland, Mike put it together to include some of his closest friends. What a time we had. Mike and I always talked about the small Irish town of Newmarket on Fergus, in the County Clare, my wife was from New Market, Indiana. We always laughed about that. 

We are saddened by the loss of our dear friend. The GM friends have lost another cherished member of the GMAD family.

We are keeping Carrie, Charlie, Danny, Tim and the entire Meehan Family in our prayers.  We pray you find peace and comfort remembering all the wonderful times spent with your Dad.

We have not been in touch for many years.  In speaking with my brother Patrick this evening he informed me that you had passed.  I am your cousin Elaine Meehan.  Your Dad and mine were brothers. I went to St Benedict school and had two brothers, Larry and Pat.  Larry passed this past Oct, he was 84 also. May you Rest In Peace.  Elaine Meehan Sansone ( Howell Michigan)

Mike It was wonderful working with you in Materials Management.  I didn''t mind typing papers for your son/daughter.  You were so sweet coming up  to my desk and asking for my help.  I will never forget the times we had at GM.  Rest in peace.

Farewell cousin Mike. We lost our Dad, Albert Meehan, when I was 2-years old in 1941 and our Mom, Lill Meehan, always managed to get Larry and I to your Dad's barber shop for haircuts Charlie never charged her for. Early memory in 8th grade of going to St Bens football games and proudly watching you run end runs as a tough Raven halfback and how fast you actually were. Also fond more recent memories playing golf with you, Buck and other St, Bens alum in N Michigan and here in Florida. I always loved your humorous stories. Sincere condolences to your family. Rest In Peace and let's all hoist a beer in your memory and for good old times.
