Dorothy Corrine Faulkner Piotrowski

Piotrowski, Dorothy C., of New Port Richey, Florida died at home in Hospice Care on Sept. 4, 2018, her 96 Birthday. She was born in Jewell, NY on Sept. 4, 1922 and raised in Syracuse, NY. She attended secretarial school and then worked at Otis Air-field on Cape Cod, MA during WWII. That is where she met and married pilot, Chester Piotrowski. They moved to Westfield, MA and had two daughters, then moved to Windsor, CT. Dorothy was a full-time homemaker. The Piotrowski’s retired to Florida in 1988.

Dorothy enjoyed all sports, especially the Boston Red Sox, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and anything related to her favorite sport golf.

She is predeceased by her father; Howard Faulkner 1967, her mother: Ruth Lindroth Faulkner 1974, her brothers; Richard Faulkner 1968, Robert Faulkner 2001, husband; Chester Daniel Piotrowski 1990.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Linda Ostiguy and her son Ian Ostiguy, of Canton, CT, daughter; Roberta “Robin” Piotrowski and her daughter Brianna Pyles, of New Port Richey, FL, and a son Eron Pyles and his family in Oklahoma.

To honor Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no formal church or funeral service. Dorothy’s request was to inform all remaining family, nieces, nephews and dear friends how much she appreciated them celebrating and loving her during her life!

Dorothy will be interred with her family at the Royal Palm Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL.
