Zenaida F. Pina

Zenaida grew up on a farm with her parents, brothers, and sisters. She had a 8th grade education. Zenaida was a housewife and devoted mother to 7 children. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, and making new friends. Zenaida was a member of the Berea Presbyterian Church of Tamaulipas, Mexico; a member of the Juan Marcos Presbyterian Church of Houston, Texas and she was also a member of the Betania Presbyterian Church of McAllen, Texas.

Zenaida was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo Flores and Timotea Rodriguez; husband, Ignacio Pina; children, Delia Viola, Imelda, and Javier; grandchildren, Saul Gonzalez and Megan Genseal. She is survived by her sons, Cesar A. & Nelly Pina and Sergio R. & Martha Pina; daughters, Nilda & Shaun Manning and Olga & Terry Genseal; grandchildren, Mario Flores, Roel Gonzalez, Onedia Pina, Rachel Balderas, Noemi De Leon, Edna Esquivel, Sara Pina, Anaceli Sears, Julio C. Pina, Sergio R. Pina, Ignacio Pina, Javier Pina, Joseph Manning, Eric Manning, and Scott Genseal; 20 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Zenaida will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM; with a burial to follow, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
