Roberto A. Zavala, 84, passed away on July 25, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born September 17, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas. Roberto is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Zavala and Jesusa Aguilera. Left to cherish his memory, loving wife: Elodia Zavala; children: Sandra Zavala, Robert Zavala, Juan Zavala, Javier Zavala, and Andrew Zavala; grandchildren: Rasiel Zavala, Janissa Zavala, Javier Zavala, Jr., Allison Zavala, Leah Zavala, Thalia Zavala, and Juan Zavala, Jr.; other relatives: Juanita Cruz, Vicente Cruz, Carmen Vargas, Jesus & Letty Vega, Michael Vargas, Ada Ramirez, Jose Martin Ramirez, Francisca Chau, Juan & Michael Chau, Juan Valdez, and Guadalupe Montalvo. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 7pm. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10am. Interment to follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held in the Large Chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home, 5100 N. Freeway, Houston, Texas 77022.
