Yvonne is survived by/or Left to cherish her memory is her son, James Ray McDonald Jr. and wife Karen; daughter, Lynette Yvonne Bass and husband Curtis; brother, Rev. William H. Nix; sister, Pamela M. Bailey and husband James; grandchildren, Stephen McDonald, Stephanie Pumphrey, Shawn Fuller, Brandon Bass, Dustin Bass; great-grandchildren, Brendan Pumphrey, Austin Pumphrey,Tory Fuller, Brinly Fuller, Kyla Fuller, Taelor McDonald, Cayden Bass and Sadie Bass.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, James Ray McDonald Sr.; parents, and beloved sister, Barbara E. Nix.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service for Yvonne will be held at Brookside Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM, with burial in Brookside Memorial Park to follow.
