Yvette Denise Grimes-Burnett

Yvette Burnett loved her family, church, and friends which was a vital part of her life; yet something greater awaited her that could only be rewarded through a transition from the earth through glory.

On April 21, 2022, Yvette began her new life. We celebrate the victory that has been obtained through Christ.

Her transition was preceded by Willie Mae Staten (Grandmother), Fred Staten (Grandfather), Vernon Jones (Stepfather), Willie Grimes (Stepmother), and Faith Gonzalez (Granddaughter).

She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life with Mother Rosie Jones, Father Louis Grimes; Sisters: Veronica Jones Gates (William), Jewel Mainor, Beverly Rivers; Brothers: Kenneth LaVan (Debbie), Marcus LaVan, Keith Grimes (Katherine), Shon Grimes; Daughters Danielle Gonzalez (Pedro), De’Shunna, Ja’Kala, Ra’Kala Burnett and Grandchildren who lovingly called her (Granny): Alyssa Gonzalez, Isla Bennett, Zion Jackson, Kartíer Banks.
