Yan Cheung Fung

My father, Yan-Cheung ( baptized name 'Paul') Fung was born on September 22, 1934 in China. In my parents' almost 50-year of marriage, my father was dearly loved by his wife, 2 children and 2 grandchildren. He worked his way through college and had a long, successful career as an educator and later as a restaurant entrepreneur and owner. Hard work and dedication characterized this strong and loving husband, father and grandfather.

In the 1950's, father traveled from Hong Kong to Taiwan and enrolled in the air force cadet. He later graduated from National Chengchi University with a Journalism degree. Upon graduation, father returned to Hong Kong and became an educator. In his 30+ years as an educator and school principal, father was dearly loved and respected.

After my family migrated to the United States in 1980's, my parents' career turned a new leaf. Together, they opened and ran a restaurant business for over 10 years.

Daddy, you will forever be remembered and loved in our hearts. May you rest in peace with our Heavenly Father.
