Farewell my beloved Family & Friends,
It is on to the next stop in my eternal journey.
Thank you all for joining my family and I in a grand celebration of my life.
As my oldest, most beautiful, talented, and all-time-favorite child, Annie “Michat” Nguyen, would say, “Momma, you’re my hero, Mẹ là chị hùng của lòng con, her translation in Vietnamese!” Silly child! I know!........
I chose to exit this world on the same day as I entered it, in fashionable manner, so that you all will remember this special day without having to mark it on your calendar. 02.16.1956 - 02.16.2019, just in case. #LMAO
Once in awhile, if you happen to come across my soulmate, my one and only eternal love, Phuc “Rem ròm” Nguyen, with whom I have shared the most beautiful memories of my journey on earth, please give him a warm hug and reassure him that I will still be around keeping an eye on him, so he better behave! Thương!
As for my girl, Jennifer “Dipi” Nguyen, also known as my “Lực Sĩ Két,” do NOT pursue your dream of becoming a manicure/pedicure business owner, it’s for artistic individuals like Annie. You’re an expert on Beard Papa’s Japanese cream puffs girly girl! Keep baking, not bodybuilding!!! Momma loves you! Cook for Annie please!!!
My handsome baby boy, Tommy Nguyen, you will be the most wonderful physician, plastic
surgeon, in the whole wide world! If need be, practice on your sisters until you perfect the skills! Always help the poor and needy. I’m forever proud of you and when that day comes, Momma will definitely be there! Just look for a sign! Baby Boy, forget me not!!! Momma loves you the most, but SHHHH! Don’t tell your sisters!
To my non-related fraternal twins, Ivan Sandoval and Eric Leong, Momma appreciates you for eternity! Have human babies soon please! You’re only getting older! Also, please take care of my fur grandchildren, Coco Nguyen-Leong and Oslo Nguyen-Sandoval. By the way, I love your cooking! Be patient, you will get to Momma’s level one day, hopefully! *cross fingers*
And last but not least, to all my beloved family and friends, my journey on earth was unique
and unforgettable because you were parts of it. Thank you to each and every single one of you who touched my life in your own very special way and left a little piece of yourselves in my heart. Thank you for the memories! I’ll be in the flowers you wear on your hair... in the air you breathe... I’ll be everywhere as long as you’d like me to... I’ll always be there!!!
For now, I, Nguyễn Thị Xuân Mai, am signing off! Tạm biệt các tình yêu của Xuân Mai nhé, hẹn gặp lại!” So long my loves, we will cross paths again! Thương nhiều!!!
