Winnie Fay Hillhouse

Winnie Fay Hillhouse age 74, of the Woodlands, TX passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2016. Winnie Fay was born September 24, 1941 in Crockett, TX to Elijah Lee Fairchild and Dorothy Mae Walton Fairchild along with her twin brother Martin Ray Fairchild. She was born to 2nd generation Holiness parents and received the precious Holy Ghost baptism as a child in the Body of Christ church in Port Houston,

She participated in a young girls choir and also played both a clarinet and violin in the church band. She was a “people person” and loved family and life. Her passion for cooking lead to her ability to cook a shoe and make it taste just fine. She rejoiced at the birth of both her sons Keith and Rodney. She spent most of 68 years in the Gospel Assembly Church and passed down as much of the Lords wisdom as one mother could to her two sons. Winnie fay was predeceased in death by: her husband: Manuel Cruseturner, husband: George Hillhouse, Father: Elijah Fairchild, Mother: Dorothy Fairchild, Twin brother: Martin Ray Fairchild, Sister: Hazel Brown, nephew: Mark Henderson. She is survived by two sons: Manuel Keith Cruseturner and wife Brenda, and Rodney Hillhouse. By sisters: Helen Henderson, Marguerite Kate Landes and by many cousins and other family and friends. Memorial service to be held a Tomball Gospel Assembly: 14615 FM 2920, Saturday, January 30th at 11:30 a.m.
