A graduate of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX, she worked and volunteered in an array of professions and activities. She will be especially remembered for having successfully fulfilled the roles of a diligent and loving mother, a wise and compassionate mentor, and a fiercely loyal friend. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at her home in Houston, TX, surrounded by her family.
Clyde is survived by her husband Jerry Decker, her son K.C. Clark (Vonelle) and daughter Kim Bellah-Ardoin (Curtis), her stepdaughter Sam Ridenhour (Tom) and stepson Chet Decker (Lupe), her 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and her sister Marlene Durham and brother Lynton Allred (Joyce).
Clyde was predeceased by her stepson Roger Clark and her parents Jimmie and Mary Allred.
