Willie Dell Welch

On August 24, 1926, Willie Dell Welch known as Mother Welch was born to Will Ward and Eula Ward. She graduated from Moore High School in Waco Tx. She was married to Frank Welch, Jr. for 40+ years until his passing in 2014.

Mother Welch was a Nurses Aid as Strawberry Clinic in Pasadena where she retired from. She was a member of the Eastern Star Pleasantville Lodge #163. Where she served as a secretary for over 40 years. She had a beautiful and fun spirit that allowed her light to shine wherever she went. She was a devoted member and the Mother of The Recovery Community Church, Pastor Nathaniel Dugay III for 15+ years until her death.

She is survived by one living sibling: Edna Faye Jones. Proceeding her in death by her parents, Will and Eula Ward, siblings Tommie, Leola, Jack and Mildred Ward. She will be truly missed and remembered by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Church Family and friends.

A visitation for WILLIE will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 3:50 PM to 4:10 PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
