Willie Joseph Moore

Willie Joseph Moore, 51, died February 11, 2017 at Kindcare Spring Rehabilitation Center in Spring, Texas. Willie was born November 5, 1965 to the proud parentage of Eddie M. Williams and Willie Thomas. Willie attended Barbara Jordan Highschool for Health Professionals where he received his nursing certificate. He worked at various facilities in the Houston area and was loved by staff and residents. Willie nursing career started in 1986 where he began working at Mercy Nursing Care Center for five years. Soon after leaving Mercy, he continued his career at Wileyville for the following three years. After his trender, he was employed with Janice Nursing Care Center for approximately three years. Willie finished his career at Northline Manor which is now Ashford Gardens Healthcare Center where he worked for many years until his health began to fail. Willie found Christ at an early age. Being baptized at the age of 9 in Corpus Christi, Texas at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Freddy Philmore. He later joined Commandment Missionary Baptist Church in Houston,Texas under the leadership of our late Reverend Cleophaus Williams. He was also under leadership of current, Reverend Gregory Williams. He then joined New Jerusalem Whole Truth Church in Houston,Texas in the early 2000’s under leadership of Pastor Lee Gaddie where he was a faithful member until the Lord called him from labor to reward. He leaves to mourn mother (Eddie M. Williams); father (Willie Thomas) of Schulenburg, Texas; step father (Sammie Williams); sisters (Wilma Hill & Mary Conway); brothers (Reverend Anthony Moore & Reverend Joseph Hill); three aunts (Grace Amiker) of Trenton, New Jersey, (Lola Ballard) of Schulenburg, Texas and (Lanora); nephews (Anthony Wade, Theophilus Griffin, Rahkeem Coleman, Carl Moore & Sharvarus White, Benard Lockhard); neices (Shaun Stanford, Aprenchiante Hill, Brittany Gaddie, Cleophanique Coleman, Darchelle White & Quanisha Kelley) and a host of great nieces and nephews.
