Willie Henry Hill

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Mildred; 2 daughters, Carolyn Hataway and husband Burton; Glenda Hudnall and husband Michael; 1 grand-daughter, Lindsay Simmons and husband Trent; and 1 great grandson, Creed Simmons; along with many other loving family members and friends. He, also, has a host of sons that he and Mildred raised at Boys and Girls Country of Houston.

Willie was employed 11 years with Southern Pacific Railroad; 7 ½ years for the United States Postal Service and 18 ½ years with Boys and Girls Country. While holding down a full time job, he went to the Cornerstone Baptist Institute at night and received a Bachelor of Divinity degree. He was dedicated to serving His Lord and attended the Holland Avenue Baptist Church, the Berean Baptist Church and the Northwest Baptist Church faithfully until his death.

The services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Viewing and family visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel Interment will immediately follow the service.
