W.T. Zimmerman, 78, of Ricardo, Texas, passed away on August 2nd, 2019. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 15th, 1940. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1958-1962. W.T. participated in building and supporting things across the United States and around the world with a long career in industrial construction, petro-chemical work, mass-production manufacturing, and the burgeoning wind-power field. There wasn’t much that he could not build, repair, or improve. W.T. had a passion for the outdoors, especially offshore fishing. He is survived by his children: Paul Leirer, Noble Zimmerman, Clint Zimmerman, Chris Zimmerman, John Zimmerman, Joseph Zimmerman, and Myra Zimmerman. His grandchildren: Chelsea Maresh, William Zimmerman, Sidney Zimmerman, Daniel Leirer, Kyra Leirer, Nicholas Zimmerman, Cody Zimmerman, Riley Zimmerman, and Evelyn Zimmerman. Great-grandchildren: Grace Maresh and Iker Maresh. Siblings: Mary Evelyn Johnson, Laura Perry, John Zimmerman, and Noble Wayne Zimmerman. Preceded in death by his parents, Noble and Evelyn Zimmerman, and his son, Eric Zimmerman. Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 AM, August 12th, 2019, at Brookside Funeral Home, Chapel of Chimes, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
