William Thomas Woods III, 78, of Houston, Texas, passed away February 3, 2018. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 10, 1939 to William T. Woods, Jr. and Frances Woods. He was married to Emilie Woods for 48 years. William had a career as a Private Attorney for 42 years.
He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and had a passion for sports, Golf, Debating and telling stories.
He was preceded in death by father William T. Woods, Jr., mother Frances Woods, and aunt Lucy Hanson. He is survived by wife Emilie Koppenhaver Woods.
We ask family and friends to bid him farewell at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park. Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, February 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM.
