William C. Williams

William C. “ Bill” Williams passed away on August 27, 2013, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous 10 year battle with cancer. He was born February 21, 1930 in Miami, Florida to Oscar C. Williams and Mary Bell Harrold.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served his country honorably in the Korean War. His passions were his love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his love and devotion to his wife and family and his strong work ethics. He cherished life, living it to the fullest, believing that every day was a gift from God. He opened Buy-Rite Auto Supply in Houston and enjoyed working in the business with his children. He and his wife, Judy, enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally with their many friends in the Bank Leasure Club and the Bank Community Club.

He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Judy G. Williams; his children Linda Cooper and husband Henry, William C. Williams, Jr., Randy W. Williams and wife Bernie; his stepson Seldon Fletcher, Jr. and wife Sandy and stepdaughter Melissa Fletcher and husband Ray Blair; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; his sister Marion Brown; his sister Peggy Burgin and husband Keith; and his brother John Williams and wife Sheree.

The family wishes to gratefully thank Dr. Luis T. Campos and his caring staff for their compassionate care of Bill for the past 10 years.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Stateroom at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
