William Ward Weaver

William “Bill” Ward Weaver, born on August 20, 1930, surrounded by his loving family, went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Spring, Texas. Bill was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Ward and Irene Weaver. Graduating from Perry High School in 1948, he immediately enlisted in the Navy where he served for 4 years. Bill worked for HB Zachry Company, Brown & Root, and Phillips Petroleum. He was highly respected at each company. Bill was blessed with 2 children, William “Billy” and Mary Ann, and married Bennie Skinner in 2000. He was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and any other sport he could participate in. Bill loved spending time in the kitchen and was famous for his baking, especially his Sugar Cookies. There were always treats prepared for any visitors in his home. Bill was a member of Genesis Community Church in Spring, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10AM at Genesis Community Church 19315 Ella Blvd. in Spring, Texas 77388.
