William Jerome Vasek

William was born to William P. Vasek and Julie Vasek (Sulik), August 29, 1942, in La Grange, Texas. He graduated from John Regan High School in 1960 and attended Alvin Community College for 2 years focusing on Computer Technology. He served as a Sergeant in the Texas Air National Guard and the reserve of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by: Bob Vasek, brother, Maxine Dubec (Vasek), sister, Larry Vasek, brother. He also leaves to cherish his memories of Karen McMullen, niece, and his nephews Michael Dubec, Mark Vasek and William Dubec.

He was preceded in death by his William Vasek, father, Julie Vasek (Sulik), mother, Judy Akey (Vasek), sister, Emil Dubec, brother-in-law, and Donna Vasek, niece.

William worked as a Computer Technician/Specialist in the Banking and Telecommunications Industries for over 40 years. He enjoyed tennis, bowling, casinos and hunting. He was also actively involved in All Saints Catholic Church where he was an Usher and taught computer classes.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday May 10th, 2023 from 5-9pm at Forest Park Lawndale. A funeral mass will be held Thursday May 11th, 2023 at 11am at All Saints Catholic Church. The burial will follow at 1pm at Forest Park Lawndale, with a reception will follow at Forest Park Lawndale from 2-4pm.
