Rest In Peace my old friend!  Your smiling face and happy personality brightened the North Shepherd Station!  Prayers for the Spalding family!  

We're sorry to hear about Bill's passing.  Please accept our sincere condolences from the Lopez family, Pam, Barbara, Sonya and myself.  Pam, Barbara and I fondly remember a trip during a 9-1-1 conference in California when Bill accompanied us to Catalina Island.  Jokester and fun loving person that he was, he kept us entertained during that trip while regaling us with his many adventures in the military and during his police career.

I'm sure he will be missed.

I dispatched N. Shepherd and have only fond memories of Bill.  He had a great smile and you could  "hear" him smile on the radio.    

When I first met Bill I was a rookie at the North Shepherd substation in 1983. He told me war stories of times past and told me I could call him Uncle Bill. Well Bill turned out to be a very good friend but more then that he was my Uncle Bill. I will miss him, but I know he will be watching over all of us from up above and sharing a good joke or two with the Angels.

Bill was one of a kind! He was like a big brother to me for many years. So many stories and so many good times. He will be missed.
