The Oil & Gas Industry is where he worked in management most of his life. William was very fair and loved by his employees and affectionately known as “Chief”. He was also a practical joker at times which lightened up the work week.
He was a quiet, gentle, generous man with a strong presence. Very smart and practical, with a subtle sense of humor that was often referred to as “Bill-isms” when he used his East Texas phrases. Whether it was construction, plumbing, electrical, or car repairs, if he didn’t know how to do something, he figured it out and got the job done.
William was very family oriented who was devoted to his wife, Josephine of 36 years. Strong in his faith and values and led his family by example, he took care of his family with love and sound advice. He loved animals, especially his dog Misty.
William enjoyed attending family reunions and community pie suppers and loved spending time with his East Texas family whom he talked about often.
He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine Montoya Reeves, 2 daughters, 3 step-daughters, 2 step-sons, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will always be LOVED and MISSED!
