William Charles “Bill” Jordan passed away on April 25, 2020 in Houston, Texas. Bill was born July 24, 1945 to Charles and Frances Jordan in Dallas, Texas. He moved with his family to Houston in the early 1950’s. Bill married his high school sweetheart Sharon Lee McEuen on March 11, 1966, and they were happily married for 48 years, until her death.
Bill is survived by his daughters Kimberly Cerón and her husband Marco, Kristi Bonnin and her husband David; his three grandsons Garrett Bonnin, Brandon Cerón and Dylan Cerón; sisters Diann Russell of Austin and Margaret Jordan of Houston; two nieces and three nephews; honorary daughters Lawna Henderson of Longview, Dana Stoerkel of Pearland and Audra Koch of Katy.
Bill served his country proudly during the Vietnam War era from August of 1963 until August of 1967.
Bill worked for SWBT and AT&T from 1970 until 1990. He then went to work for the Ross Perot Company EDS and was voice tech, project manager and office manager for 15 years. His last and most rewarding job was working as a concierge for The Bristol Condominiums from 2003 until his retirement in 2013.
Bill had a love and passion for music, he was fond of karaoke and would often be caught singing around the house. He wished he had pursued music earlier in life, but enjoyed the times he spent with others singing.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, funeral and burial services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24, 2020 - Bill's 75th birthday.
