William was a gift by the Lord to his father, William Edgar Johnson Sr., and mother, Frances Wood Johnson.
Bill is survived by his spouse of 55 years, Katherine Eloise Johnson; son, Buster Johnson and Peter R. Lau, son, Michael Johnson and spouse, Jody Johnson; grandchildren: McKenna and Courtney Johnson; sister, Betty Stone, and many nieces and nephews.
William was a graduate of the first class of Sam Houston High School and received a Masters degree from the University of Houston. He worked as an accountant of Gulf Publishing Company and retired as the CFO of Gulf Printing Company to spend more time with his beloved family and friends.
The visitation will be at 9am and services will be at 10am at the Brookside Funeral Home, Family Chapel, at 13747 Eastex Freeway on Tuesday, May 26th.
