I affectionately called him Pop Francis. I don’t like to fly and I was finally convinced to fly to Houston with my daughters to celebrate my birthday. I am so happy that I got a chance to visit with him, to be able to hold his hand and talk to him. He transitioned the day after we left Houston😢 He was an awesome man of GOD, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and I will miss him tremendously.  RIP Pop Francis. I love you❤️

My first Deacon Francis experience was a van ride to Philadelphia to a PNBC Convention Dinner.  His driving scared the living daylights out of me!  When I told him, he laughed at me like there was no tomorrow!  We were friends ever since.  I so enjoyed my time working with him at Pilgrim.  Reminded me so much of my own dad.  You all were blessed to have him. I was blessed to know him.  Rest in peace Deacon!  Job well done!
