William O. Emde, longtime Houston resident and founder of The Emde Company, passed away on Thursday, the 26th of May 2016, at the age of 91 years. He was born on the 7th of October 1924, in Chicago, Illinois.

Friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon until seven o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 1st of June 2016, in the grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A memorial service is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 2nd of June 2016, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of one's choice .
