William Wayne Bolton

William Wayne was born to Leon and Reba Bolton, on December 26, 1946, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Bellaire High School and later received a bachelor's degree from the Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches,Texas. He married Marilyn Hazel in 1973, and they lived together in Houston, Texas.Together they raised their son, Arthur Dusty Bolton.

William is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Arthur Dusty Bolton and Jenny Bolton; grandchildren, Kenton and Korden Bolton and Hayley Crawford. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his niece and her husband Janet and Kevin George and two very special friends, Pat Ludwig and Trena Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Bolton and his parents, Leon Bolton and Reba Bolton.

William Wayne worked as a police officer for Houston Police Department. He most enjoyed spending time with his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren and sitting on the back patio watching the birds and squirrels.In his earlier years he enjoyed the family dogs.

A memorial service for William will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. Harry Fritzenschaft will officiate the ceremony. Rite of committal will immediately follow.
