Wesley Earl Milligan, Se. was the second twin born April 5, 1934 to Silas & Odie Jacobs Milligan. His twin sister, Lillie Pearl London Mills was born minutes earlier. Wesley attended DeSoto Parish School in Mansfield, LA. At early age, Wesley accepted Jesus Christ and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church where he was baptized. Years later,Wesley moved to Houston, Texas and worked for a Barbecue Place of Busines in the Spring Branch are of Houston. While working there, he met and married Barbara Myers. To this union, four beautiful children were born. The entire family attended Bethany Missionary Baptist Church Wesley worked for Southern Pacific Railroad and later began a career with Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home and Cemetery. He worked at Forest Park Lawndale for a total of 34 years. Wesley really loved and enjoyed working for Forest Park to the extent after he retired, he went back to work at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home without any reservations. Wesley also loved cutting yards as a part time job and hobby. When he couldn’t do the yards himself he would ask family members to get his regularly scheduled yards done. Wesley was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; and daughter Bridgett. Later son, Wesley, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Cynthia John and one grandson, Darius Milligan.Wesley Earl Milligan leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories to three brothers, Archie Lee Jones, of Houston, Tx; Silas Milligan, Jr. of San Francisco, CA; George Milligan (Mae) of Houston, Tx And three sisters, Odie B. Harris of Tracey, CA; Lillie Pearl London Mills of Houston, Tx and Dorothy Guice of Grand Cane, LA. One daughter, Jackie Milligan Starks (Bobby Ray); and son, Patrick Milligan (Angie). Grandchildren-Desmond Johnson, Wesley Earl Milligan, III; John Daniels; Kizzy Milligan; Moneesha Milligan; Latavian Milligan; Todd Sanders; Twala Sanders and Bridgett Milligan. Two GreatGrandchildren, DeJohn Smith and Dakiyra Milliagan. And a host of relatives and friends.
